The show is directed by and stars Olivier Award-winning performer Nathan Dowling and explores shame, identity and societal expectations through a series of client encounters, with fun (and educational!) audience interaction throughout.
Unleashed is the debut play, and their appearance at Camden follows a successful (Arts Council funded) preview at The Albany Theatre, Coventry, and a great run at Buxton Fringe where I was nominated for Best Actor. The consistent feedback was that the piece was (surprisingly) emotional, educational and thought-provoking – which is exactly what they were aiming for! Their official Buxton Fringe review said that it was ‘Exactly what Fringe should be’ and that it was “much more complex and poignant than I was expecting.”
