Getting there:

Getting to Camden Market is easy. On the Northern Line you’ll get off at Camden Town Underground Station. Chalk Farm Station is also a short walk away. Other nearby stations are Camden Town Overground or Mornington Crescent.

From Camden Town Underground Station you’ll take a right to head towards Camden Market. Along Camden High Street you’ll find shops and a few restaurants. Feeling peckish along the way? Inverness Street Market has some quirky restaurants. Or to your right you’ll find Boxpark Camden, the container market, with a lot of independent arts and crafts stalls and food on the upper levels.

Continue along and you’ll see, before you reach the bridge, a large market area called Camden Market Hawley Wharf. Head upstairs to find a big selection of food stalls and restaurants, with many shops on the lower levels.

Now, you’re ready for the main attraction: Camden Market

As you enter from the main entrance by the bridge, you’ll find the West Yard and the Stables Market. You’ll instantly be welcomed by the delicious smells from “Asian Alley” with a variety of food offerings.

Pubs:

On this walk you’ll see a few pubs too, including Bucks Head, Elephant’s Head and before that The World’s End just as you exit the station, with the Camden Eye just across from that. Brunch and Grapes is a lovely pub too just on Jamestown Road. Once you’re in the market, look up Camden Lockside, a wonderful pub with excellent food too.
