We all love going to the movies. Order a popcorn (sweet and salted mixed, please), sit back, and enjoy the latest blockbuster movie. With the Odeon in Camden now closed after many years, here are some of the nearby cinemas to visit.
Curzon Camden
Curzon have been in the cinema business since 1934 and have a new cinema in Camden. Tucked under Camden’s historic railway arches, this unique venue comprises five beautifully mounted screens, each accommodating 30 guests for an intimate filmgoing experience. The cinema also houses a casual, New York-style bar with glamorous interiors and soft lighting.
It’s right near Camden Stables Market, comfortable, stylish, and the perfect place for a date night movie.
Curzon Camden, Arches N7 – N14, Dockray Pl, London NW1 8QD

Everyman Belsize Park
The Everyman is known for being comfortable, food and drinks served to your sofa seat, and excellent sound quality. With Everyman cinemas across London, the Belsize Park location is the closest to Camden Town. They show mainstream and independent films, new and classics.
Everyman Belsize Park, 203 Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park, London NW3 4QG

Phoenix Cinema
Opposite East Finchley Station on the Northern Line sits the Phoenix Cinema. It has been open over 100 years, since 1912, and shown all the classic films.
A truly wonderful independent cinema with patrons such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Dame Judy Dench.
Phoenix Cinema, 52 High Rd, London N2 9PJ

ArtHouse Crouch End
Another fantastic cinema, this time in Crouch End. The area has plenty of restaurants and cafés around for a pre-cinema meal. By mixing the world of film, fine art, live music, discussion groups, theatre, live streaming, workshops, dance, comedy and whatever else that inspires, they strive to create a unique hub in North London for both Artists to feel at home in and lovers of art to be thoroughly entertained in.
